MikroTik wAP 60Gx3 AP – 60 GHz Access Point for High-Capacity SMB & Enterprise Networks

MikroTik wAP 60Gx3 AP is a 60 GHz base station for point-to-multipoint wireless connections, designed for operators and integrators building high-speed wireless distribution networks in the clean 60 GHz spectrum. A 96-element antenna array with 180° beamforming connects up to eight 60 GHz client devices simultaneously from a single outdoor access point.

The 96-element beamforming array automatically steers focused beams toward each client within the 180° field of view, eliminating inter-connection interference and maximizing spectrum efficiency. Compared to the standard wAP 60G AP, this model features a completely redesigned antenna array optimized specifically for multipoint operation — covering twice the angular range of conventional 60 GHz solutions. The IP54-rated enclosure and tested operating range of -40°C to +70°C ensure reliable performance in permanent outdoor installations. PoE 802.3af/at input simplifies pole and facade mounting without separate power cabling.

wAP 60Gx3 AP integrates into wireless distribution networks as the central hub of a star topology, connecting up to eight 60 GHz client units within coverage range. It also supports point-to-point configurations between two wAP 60Gx3 AP units for dedicated high-speed links. The uncongested 60 GHz spectrum, free from interference with conventional WiFi networks, provides a cost-effective alternative to fiber in local distribution scenarios.
