MikroTik wAP 60G 60GHz Wireless CPE for SMB Networks

wAP 60G is a 60GHz CPE unit with an integrated phase array beamforming antenna, designed to connect to a 60GHz base station in point-to-point or CPE scenarios across indoor and outdoor infrastructures. It is widely used as client-side equipment for receiving high-speed connections over distances of 200 meters or more, operating on an uncongested spectrum that guarantees a stable, interference-free link.

The device operates at 60GHz with 60° beamforming, efficiently focusing the signal toward the base station and maintaining a fast, stable connection even at extended distances. A quad-core ARM processor running up to 896MHz with 256MB RAM delivers sufficient performance for routing and advanced connection management. At just 5W with passive cooling and an MTBF of 200,000 hours, it ensures continuous and reliable operation in permanent outdoor installations.

wAP 60G accepts power via 802.3af/at PoE or 12-57V DC jack and integrates into the local network through its Gigabit Ethernet port. The IP55-rated enclosure withstands water jets and dust, while the -40°C to +70°C operating range ensures reliable performance in extreme climatic conditions. The kit includes a desktop stand, ceiling mount bracket, pole fastening set, and Gigabit PoE injector for immediate deployment. The link penetrates most windows depending on their material, extending indoor usage scenarios.
