MikroTik PWR-LINE Adapter (microUSB, Type A)

MikroTik PWR-LINE EU (PL7400) is a power adapter with PWR-LINE functionality for MikroTik routers with a microUSB port, designed to create a network connection through the existing electrical installation without additional LAN cables. It is deployed in homes and small offices where running network cables is not practical or desired, allowing network extension through the building's electrical wiring — plug it into an outlet, power the MikroTik router via microUSB, and it automatically establishes a connection of up to 100 Mbps with any other compatible PWR-LINE device connected to another outlet on the same electrical installation. Supplied with a Type C power plug, commonly used in Europe, South America, and Asia.

PL7400 combines device power and network connectivity in a single power adapter — the USB cable powers the compatible MikroTik router (hAP mini, hAP lite, and other models with a microUSB port), while the AR7420 PLC chipset simultaneously transmits network data through the existing electrical wiring. Two or more PL7400 units connected to different outlets on the same electrical installation automatically form a network at speeds up to 100 Mbps without additional configuration. The wide AC input range of 100–240V ensures global compatibility with any electrical grid.

The PWR-LINE solution eliminates the need to drill walls, hide cables, or install additional ethernet outlets in spaces where aesthetic requirements or renovation restrictions make traditional network cabling impossible. The operating range from -20°C to +60°C covers normal indoor usage conditions in residential and commercial spaces.

Recommended for network extension in apartments and houses where structured cabling is not possible, simultaneous powering and networking of hAP mini and hAP lite routers in secondary locations without visible cables, and any residential or small office scenario where installation simplicity and the absence of additional network cables are priorities.
