The MikroTik LHG 60G is a high-speed 60 GHz CPE for point-to-multipoint deployments, designed for wireless connections in environments where the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz spectrum is congested and unreliable. It is widely used in internet distribution networks, campus infrastructures, and ISP deployments where multiple client units connect simultaneously to a central 60 GHz access point — such as the wAP 60G AP or wAP 60Gx3 AP. The solution eliminates interference from the crowded wireless spectrum and delivers speeds of up to 2 Gbps per sector without sharing frequency with neighboring equipment.

The CPE unit operates in the 60 GHz band with an effective range of up to 800 m in point-to-multipoint configuration and up to 1500 m in point-to-point mode. The hardware platform features a quad-core IPQ-4019 processor running at up to 896 MHz with 256 MB RAM, managed via RouterOS (License Level 3). The Gigabit Ethernet port with 802.3af/at PoE delivers both power and network connectivity over a single cable, while the antenna element built directly into the wireless unit eliminates signal loss from external cabling.

The LHG 60G integrates into point-to-multipoint topologies alongside MikroTik 60 GHz access points, supporting up to eight CPE units per sector. The grid design provides wind load resistance, IP55 protection guards against dust and water jets, and the included Aim tool enables precise antenna alignment during installation. The robust metal LHG mount supports pole and outdoor structure mounting in fixed deployments.
