MikroTik Chateau 5G ax is a 5G router for modern homes and offices, equipped with a 5G NR modem with LTE Category 20 support, dual-band WiFi 6, and a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, designed for ultra-fast mobile connectivity as a primary connection or backup for fixed broadband. The RG502Q-EA modem supports 5G NSA and SA on TDD bands 78 (3500 MHz), 77 (3700 MHz), and 79 (4700 MHz) with speeds up to 5 Gbps download and 900 Mbps upload under optimal conditions, complemented by LTE Category 20 with 4×4 DL MIMO and up to 2 Gbps download for full coverage on existing networks. Six integrated LTE/5G antennas provide robust mobile connectivity, and two external SMA female connectors allow mounting of external antennas to improve signal in weak coverage locations. Dual-band WiFi 6 delivers up to 40% higher speed on 5 GHz and up to 90% on 2.4 GHz compared to the previous generation, with Wave 2 support and WPA3 for advanced wireless security.
