MikroTik Chateau 5G is a home and small office router with built-in 5G and LTE support, designed for fast, reliable internet connectivity without dependence on fixed-line infrastructure. It is a practical solution for locations without fiber access, offering 5G mobile broadband, dual-band WiFi, and wired Gigabit connectivity in a single compact device.

The integrated LTE Cat20 modem with 5G support delivers download speeds up to 2 Gbps over mobile networks, making it suitable for bandwidth-intensive tasks including video streaming and remote work. The ARM quad-core processor and 256 MB RAM handle concurrent connections without performance degradation. Dual-band 2.4/5 GHz wireless (Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi 5) allows traffic separation: general household devices on 2.4 GHz and latency-sensitive applications on the 5 GHz band. Five Gigabit Ethernet ports and a USB port cover wired device connectivity.

Chateau 5G operates as a primary 5G/LTE router or as a failover backup for cable and fiber connections. It runs RouterOS v7, providing advanced routing, VPN, firewall, and remote management via TR-069 — a useful feature for ISPs managing customer-premises equipment at scale. The M.2 slot allows flexible modem selection based on regional network requirements.
