The SHVE/SGVE LoRaWAN electronic water meter is a cold and hot water flow measurement device with automatic reading transmission to LoRaWAN networks, designed for utility infrastructures, residential and commercial buildings where remote telemetry eliminates manual meter reading. Available in SHVE-15/SGVE-15 with 15 mm nominal diameter and SHVE-20/SGVE-20 with 20 mm nominal diameter, covering standard water distribution installation points.
The device operates as a LoRaWAN Class A node powered by a 3400 mAh battery with up to 8 years of service life, requiring no power cabling at the installation point. Receiver sensitivity of up to -138 dBm ensures reliable connectivity in weak signal conditions. Communication and data collection periods are configurable at 1, 6, 12, or 24-hour intervals, with undelivered packets stored in modem memory — up to 200 entries — to prevent data loss. The electronic anti-magnetic seal function detects external magnetic field interference, locks the display, and logs tampering attempts. Supported frequency plans include RU868, EU868, and KZ865 by default, with IN865, AS923, AU915, KR920, and US915 available as order options, plus custom frequency plan configuration based on EU868.
The meter supports configurable OTAA and ABP activation, confirmed packet transmission, ADR (Adaptive Data Rate), and two operating modes — Active and Storage. Built-in temperature measurement and time-stamped readings via internal clock provide complete consumption data for analysis and billing. Configuration is performed via optoport using the Vega LoRaWAN Configurator application without device removal. Integrated battery charge monitoring enables preventive replacement planning before service interruption.
