LtAP LTE12 ax is MikroTik's outdoor LTE router for vehicles, transport fleets and remote industrial sites, combining LTE Category 12 with 4x4 MIMO, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, eSIM, GNSS and RouterOS v7 in a rugged IP66 enclosure. It is designed for networks that don't live in a server room: buses, trucks, cross-border transport, heavy machinery and field installations — wherever there is no Ethernet cable and the connection has to keep working through rain, dust, frost and heat. Product code: LtAP-5HaxT2HaxD&EG120K-EA.
A modern vehicle carries an entire network on board: ticketing equipment, cameras, tracking systems, tablets and terminals. Cellular connectivity is provided by the EG120K-EA LTE Cat 12 modem with 4x4 MIMO (up to 600 Mbps download / 150 Mbps upload), with 3G fallback. On-board devices connect via dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz with a triple-chain radio, up to 900 Mbit/s throughput on 5 GHz) or through three Gigabit Ethernet ports. Built-in GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS) adds positioning for fleet tracking and monitoring solutions.
For cross-border operations, LtAP LTE12 ax removes the need to swap SIM cards by hand: eSIM support, a dual Nano SIM slot and MikroTik Connectivity — choose the operator and data plan that suit each route. Even without a mobile operator contract, getting online takes three steps: sign in to your MikroTik account, add the device and pick a data plan. For extra redundancy, the miniPCIe slot accepts a second compatible modem with failover configured in RouterOS, while the USB type A port provides further expansion. You also get the full MikroTik toolkit: VPN, advanced routing, firewall rules and remote administration.
LtAP LTE12 ax goes beyond networking thanks to its analog input and digital output: connect external sensors, monitor voltage signals and automate responses with RouterOS scripting — for example, monitor equipment temperature and switch on a cooling fan through an external relay. It is built on a dual-core EN7562CT CPU at 950 MHz, 512 MB DDR3 RAM and 128 MB NAND, running RouterOS v7 (License level 4). The new IP66 enclosure withstands dust and heavy rain, with an operating temperature range of -40°C … +70°C. It mounts on a wall or a pole, horizontally or vertically, and the enclosure has dedicated drilling spots for SMA connectors when external antennas are needed. Flexible powering via DC jack, PoE-in 802.3af/at (18–57 V) or a 2-pin terminal (12–57 V), maximum consumption 21 W (15 W without attachments). Included in the box: 24 V 1.2 A power adapter, hose clamp, K-97 fastening set and SIM ejector tool.
