The Ubiquiti U7 Outdoor is an IPX6-rated weatherproof WiFi 7 access point built for permanent outdoor deployments where wireless connectivity must remain reliable regardless of weather conditions. It is the right fit for terraces, parking areas, campuses, and public spaces that require outdoor WiFi 7 performance without the limitations of repurposed indoor hardware.

The dual-band configuration with 4 spatial streams — 2×2 on 5 GHz and 2×2 on 2.4 GHz — delivers a combined throughput of up to 5 Gbps with support for 250+ simultaneous clients across a 465 m² coverage area. Antenna flexibility is a standout advantage: the internal directional antenna on 5 GHz with 12.5 dBi gain and a 45° beamwidth focuses signal toward the target area, while two external omni antennas with RP-SMA connectors allow the radiation pattern to be adapted for non-standard site geometries. The 2.5 GbE uplink eliminates backhaul bottlenecks even under high-traffic conditions.

Mechanical durability is engineered for permanent outdoor use: the housing withstands wind forces of 74.6 N at 200 km/h, and the operating temperature range of -30°C to +60°C covers extreme climate conditions. PoE+ powering (max 19W) and compatibility with wall or pole mounting for diameters of 25–60 mm — with mounting kits included — reduce field installation complexity. Native integration with UniFi Network (v8.2.93+) enables centralized management alongside the rest of the UniFi infrastructure.
