The Ubiquiti U6 In-Wall is a WiFi 6 access point with an integrated Gigabit switch, purpose-built for in-wall deployments in hotels, residential complexes, and commercial spaces. It consolidates wireless access and wired connectivity into a single wall-mounted device, eliminating the need for additional switching equipment in each room.

The dual-band design with 6 spatial streams — 4×4 on 5 GHz and 2×2 on 2.4 GHz — delivers a combined throughput of up to 5.4 Gbps with support for 250+ simultaneous clients. The 5 GHz band with 160 MHz channel width handles streaming, video conferencing, and multi-device workloads without congestion, while the 115 m² coverage area is sized for a standard hotel room or apartment without dead zones.

The built-in 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch — including one PoE output port — enables direct connection of smart TVs, IP cameras, or VoIP phones without a separate switch in the room. Standard in-wall mounting, a 13W power draw, and native UniFi Network integration (v6.0.45+) make deployment straightforward at scale, whether across dozens or hundreds of rooms within a single project.

Recommended for hotels and hospitality properties requiring per-room WiFi 6 and Ethernet connectivity, university dormitories and student campuses, residential complexes and multi-unit apartment buildings, small offices and commercial spaces with existing in-wall cabling infrastructure, and any project where combining an access point and switch in a single device reduces installation cost and long-term maintenance overhead.
