MikroTik wAP LTE kit is an IP54 weatherproof access point with an integrated Category 4 LTE modem, designed for wireless and mobile connectivity in outdoor environments at the most accessible price in the segment. It is deployed in homes and small offices as an outdoor wireless access solution with integrated LTE internet for locations without available fibre, or as an LTE backup for wired ISP connections. The new revision features the improved EC200A-EU modem with support for the popular B28 band and a massive price reduction, while maintaining the proven compact and durable wAP series form factor.

wAP LTE kit integrates a Category 4 LTE modem delivering speeds up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload on LTE FDD bands 1/3/5/7/8/20/28 and TDD 38/40/41, with automatic fallback to 3G Category R7 and 2G for continuous connectivity. Band 28 at 700 MHz ensures superior signal penetration in rural areas and weak signal zones. Dual-chain 2.4 GHz WiFi 4 802.11b/g/n with a 2 dBi integrated antenna provides wireless access for nearby users, while the 10/100 Ethernet port with passive PoE 9–30V allows wired device connectivity. Maximum power flexibility is ensured by 3 options — DC jack 9–30V, passive PoE 9–30V, and automotive connector 9–30V — including battery or power bank operation.

The IP54 weatherproof enclosure with internal mounting — no visible external screws — and an optional anti-vandal screw on the bottom section provide physical security in public and semi-public spaces. A rear opening allows routing the Ethernet cable directly through the wall for a discreet appearance. The comprehensive included kit — 24V 0.8A adapter, K-52 fastening set, K-50 locking set, desktop stand, wall mount, 0.35m 4-pin automotive adapter cable, ceiling mount bracket, and PoE injector — provides all mounting options without additional purchases. Maximum consumption of 7W, passive cooling, and the operating range from -40°C to +60°C complete the profile of a versatile and reliable device.
