Dream Machine Special Edition (UDM-SE) is an enterprise 1U rack gateway and NVR designed for smart networks, offices, and homes requiring high performance and advanced security. Its CNC aluminum and SGCC steel enclosure and 1.3" LCM touchscreen provide durability and quick system monitoring.

UDM-SE can manage 100+ UniFi devices, 24 HD cameras, 14 2K cameras, and 8 4K cameras, as well as 150 access hubs, supporting 1,000+ simultaneous users. Ports include 8x 1 GbE RJ45, 1x 2.5 GbE RJ45, and 2x 10G SFP+. IDS/IPS throughput is 3.5 Gbps.

Security features include stateful and Layer 7 firewall, DPI, content filtering, IPS/IDS, and ad-blocking with over 55,000 IDS/IPS signatures via CyberSecure. The gateway supports VPN and license-free SD-WAN, including WireGuard, OpenVPN, L2TP, IPsec, Site Magic, Teleport, and Identity Endpoint One-Click VPN.

Advanced networking includes multi-WAN load balancing, Shadow Mode VRRP, LACP, OSPF, BGP, QoS, mDNS, advanced NAT, integrated RADIUS, customizable DHCP, IPv6, IGMP Proxy, and Virtual Network Override. The built-in NVR supports 1x 3.5” HDD bay and 128 GB integrated SSD. PoE budget is 180W, with PoE up to 15.4W/port and PoE+ up to 30W/port.

Power is provided via AC 100–240V and DC RPS 52V, max consumption 50W (excluding PoE), with ESD/EMP protection (±15kV air / ±8kV contact). Management is via UniFi iOS and Android apps. Dream Machine Special Edition is NDAA Compliant and certified CE, FCC, IC, Anatel, SRRC.
