Hikvision DS-3E0318P-E/M – 16-Port PoE Switch, 135W

The Hikvision DS-3E0318P-E/M is an unmanaged PoE switch with 16 Fast Ethernet ports and a Gigabit uplink, designed to connect and power IP cameras, WiFi access points and VoIP phones. It is used as a PoE switch for video surveillance systems and access networks, where end devices are powered over a single network cable.

The 16 10/100 Mbps ports support IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, delivering up to 30 W per port within a 135 W total budget sized for PoE devices with moderate power draw. Ports 1–8 carry VIP transmission priority for critical video streams, and Extend mode allows PoE transmission over distances of up to 250 m. Uplink is provided by a Gigabit RJ45 port or a 1000 Mbps SFP port. A 7.2 Gbps switching capacity, store-and-forward operation and automatic MAC address learning keep traffic stable across connected devices.

Being unmanaged, the switch runs plug-and-play with no configuration, which shortens deployment and reduces administration effort in multi-site projects. The SFP port supports a fiber uplink to an aggregation switch, while the Gigabit RJ45 port connects to existing copper infrastructure. Surge protection supports stable operation in exposed installations. The switch can be desktop or wall mounted.
