Many offices still rely on analog phones, fax machines and carrier landlines that cannot be retired immediately. The Zycoo ZX50-A4 in the A422 configuration is an office IP PBX with 2 FXO and 2 FXS ports that brings this equipment into a business VoIP phone system. It enables a staged migration to an IP PBX while keeping the required analog infrastructure in service.
Two FXO ports connect carrier analog lines, while two FXS ports connect analog phones or a fax machine directly. This mix keeps fax communication and analog workstations running alongside IP phones on the network. The system supports up to 100 registered extensions and 30 concurrent calls, with SIP trunks available for additional outside-line capacity. A 32-bit RISC DSP processor handles voice processing with echo cancellation and VAD.
Through the built-in SIP/IAX2 server, analog and IP extensions share one dial plan and the same set of PBX functions. Available features include auto attendant, voicemail, ring groups, call transfer, parking, paging and intercom, a conference room and call monitoring. DID, DISA and BLF simplify call routing and extension status tracking. Management runs through a web interface with configuration backup, the VPN client (N2N), DDNS and NTP time synchronization.
The ZX50-A422 suits offices that exchange documents by fax, front desks with analog handsets and organizations transitioning to IP telephony. Existing analog workstations stay in use while IP phones are added gradually, without disrupting operations. In multi-branch networks, ZX50 units interconnect over the internet for internal calling between offices. For small organizations, the PBX combines outside lines, mixed extensions and centrally managed business features in a single unit.
