Small organizations running a few carrier landlines can introduce VoIP telephony without changing their numbers or existing infrastructure. The Zycoo ZX50-A4 in the A404 configuration is an office IP PBX with 4 FXO ports, combining analog lines, IP phones and SIP trunks in one centrally managed system. It is designed for small offices and branch locations that need business PBX functions sized to their call volume.
Four FXO ports connect carrier analog lines directly and make them available to every extension. The system supports up to 100 registered extensions and 30 concurrent calls, while SIP trunks can extend line capacity as call volume grows. Extensions use IP phones and softphones connected over the local network, with no dedicated phone cabling. A 32-bit RISC DSP processor handles voice processing with echo cancellation and VAD for consistent call quality.
The built-in SIP/IAX2 server combines landlines with services from external VoIP providers, including H.264 video calls. Incoming calls are distributed through an auto attendant, ring groups and a flexible dial plan with DID, DISA and caller ID support. Voicemail, music on hold, call transfer, parking, a conference room and BLF cover standard team workflows. Configuration runs through a web interface, while system backup, the VPN client (N2N) and DDNS enable remote management and connectivity.
The ZX50-A404 suits small offices, consultancies, agencies and satellite locations that operate on a limited number of landlines. As a branch PBX, the unit connects over the internet to other ZX50 systems, so calls between offices run as internal extensions. Organizations can start with their existing analog lines and add SIP trunks or new extensions later without replacing hardware. Telephony infrastructure then scales with the business, with controlled costs and centralized administration.
