MikroTik XS+85LC01D Module – SFP+ & SFP28 for SMB and Enterprise Networks

MikroTik XS+85LC01D is a cost-effective multi-rate SFP/SFP+/SFP28 optical module with support for 1G, 10G, and 25G over multimode fiber at distances up to 100 meters, designed as an affordable solution for intra-rack and inter-rack connections over short distances. It is deployed in MikroTik switches and routers with SFP, SFP+, or SFP28 ports — including the RB5009, CCR2116, netPower series, and a wide range of CRS and CSS switches — for 25G, 10G, or 1G uplinks without requiring separate modules per speed. Multi-rate compatibility and an accessible price make it a versatile solution for infrastructures of any scale.

The module operates at 850nm over multimode fiber with a dual LC UPC connector, supporting data rates of 1.25G, 10G, and 25G in SFP/SFP+/SFP28 format at distances up to 100 meters in full-duplex 25 Gigabit mode. Multi-rate compatibility eliminates the need to stock separate modules for each speed, simplifying inventory management in infrastructures with equipment of different generations. Built-in digital diagnostic functions — optical power monitoring, transceiver supply voltage, temperature, laser bias current, and other key parameter monitoring — provide real-time alerts during abnormal transceiver activity and warnings when configurable operating limits are exceeded, enabling proactive maintenance planning and informed upgrade decisions.
