Huawei eKit S310-24P4X — Enterprise PoE+ 10G Switch for SMB and Business Networks

Huawei S310-24P4X is a Gigabit PoE+ switch with 10G uplinks, designed for access layer deployments in medium-sized enterprises where powering distributed devices over Ethernet must be combined with high uplink capacity. It is used in infrastructures where IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones are connected and powered from a single device, with traffic aggregated toward the core through 10G SFP+ ports. The total PoE budget of 400W supports dense deployments across all 24 ports.

The switch features 24 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports and 4 x 10G SFP+ uplinks with a switching capacity of 56 Gbps, drawing a typical 37.12W that rises to 485.91W under full PoE load. Cooling is handled by two intelligent fans with automatic speed adjustment. With 2 GB RAM and 1 GB Flash supporting advanced switching functions, surge protection at ±7 kV on service ports ensures resilience in environments with voltage fluctuations.

The S310-24P4X supports VLAN, QoS, ACL, and MAC-based access control, covering the security and segmentation requirements of enterprise networks. It integrates into centrally managed Huawei infrastructures and accepts both AC and high-voltage DC input (190–290V DC), useful in environments with DC UPS or industrial power sources. The RJ45 console port enables local configuration, while the reduced depth of 227 mm simplifies installation in racks with limited space.
