What makes the FTC21-ups truly unique are the two built-in Li-Ion NCA 18650 batteries. Not for running your network all night, but for surviving critical moments. At ~3W consumption (SXT LTE7 kit), the batteries provide 6+ hours of autonomy. At ~5–7W (LHG 5), 1–2 hours, and at ~13W (Cube 60Pro), 45–55 minutes — enough to prevent any renegotiation or connection loss during a short power interruption. The battery is intelligently managed: inactive during shipping, activated on first power-up, and can be remotely put into ship mode via SwOS when necessary. The FTC21-ups runs SwOS Lite with a full feature set: interface monitoring and management, VLAN support, SNMP reporting, basic traffic shaping and advanced packet filtering with Access Control Lists based on Layer 2, 3 and 4 conditions.

The device provides 2 DC inputs: PoE-In (802.3af/at, 48–57 V) and DC jack (24–57 V), with Passive PoE-out on Ether2 with selectable voltage of 24 or 48 V via hardware switch — perfect for CCTV cameras and outdoor devices. Clear LED indicators for power, PoE-in, Ethernet activity and SFP activity always show you the device status. Built on switch chip 88E6341, IP67 enclosure, operating temperature range -40°C to +70°C and compact dimensions of 268 × 113 × 44 mm — resistant to any extreme weather conditions.
